Ingleside Terraces gate and streetcar
The United Railroad 12 Ocean Avenue streetcar line came out Mission St. to unpaved Ocean Avenue on its way to the beach.
It has been replaced by the Muni K Ingleside line that traverses the Twin Peaks Tunnel, completed in 1918.

The circa 1912 photos are from the San Francisco History Center, San Francisco Public Library website.
